You may be wondering why is the pivotboard store empty? I’ve actually been receiving quite a few emails from people wanting to buy boards, or asking where the boards are in the store at the moment. So, it’s time to make sure everyone knows what’s happening here, so you don;t think I’ve gon out of business, or anything like that, In fact, quite the opposite.

I’m busier than EVER!

So, Why is the Pivotboard Store Empty?

I’ve been a bit of a victim of my own success, it seems, in that within the last 6 months, board sales have increased DRAMATICALLY.

Where before, I could keep up with the production of boards, to meet demand, demand increased to a point where I could no longer keep up, and I sold out of everything I had.

Luckily, I did foresee this happening. I  invested in more equipment for manufacturing, and also a few tools to make things easier and quicker. So, I was working on getting ahead of the game, but didn’t quite get the timing right.

I just wasn’t quite fast enough.

So, lets look at the good stuff.

The Good Stuff

With the new investment, I’m able to produce boards at a much faster rate than ever before, without sacrificing any quality. I’m pressing more boards than ever, so there’ll be more to go round very soon.

The new boards will be of EVEN BETTER quality, because there are some REALLY COOL changes coming.

What Cool Changes?

I thought you’d never ask.

Firstly, the new boards will be available in different colors for the first time ever. No more white only boards.

Secondly, I’ve invested in a lot of screen printing equipment, for graphics. The old boards had a vinyl decal graphic on them, which wasn’t perfect, and not what I really wanted. The new boards will have killer, screen-printed graphics.

Some Things You Just Can’t Rush

Unfortunately, in order to make really amazing boards, there are some things you just CAN’T rush, or go faster on.

Right now, I have stacks of board parts that have been pressed, and are curing. There ARE ways to speed up curing. But, doing so makes a weaker, lower-quality ply. In order to make the best boards, they MUST be air cured, under just the right conditions.

This takes a while, and just like a fine wine, there’s no hurrying it up. It just takes some time.

Thank You for Your Patience

I appreciate your patience while waiting for boards! Trust me, I’m just as excited as you, about getting the new boards released.
